The Business Manager serves as financial advisor to the College
of Engineering and Computational Sciences dean, faculty and staff.
Following university financial and operational policies and
procedures, oversees activities such as budget preparation and
control, human resources administration, accounts payable and
receivable, as well as contract and grant accounting. Also provides
administrative support to the college dean, department chairs, and
staff. This is a full-time 11 month staff position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages College of Engineering and Computational Sciences
budgets and grants, including but not limited to program fees,
scholarships, purchasing cards, and faculty scholarly support
Responsible for reconciling, forecasting, and troubleshooting
discrepancies concerning budgets specific to the college.
Collaborate with the dean and departments to develop program
fee, one-time funding, and on-going funding proposals.
Assists the dean and department chairs with faculty promotion
and tenure processes as well as curriculum review.
Manages the operations of the Dean's Office, which may include
advertising, marketing, web liaison, event planning, and
Fulfills requests for information, reports, and assistance from
the Office of Academic Affairs and other university entities.
Maintains college personnel records and tracks faculty workload
and teaching responsibilities.
Coordinate with department administrative assistants, providing
support and training as necessary.
Serves as assistant to the dean and performs other duties as
assigned by the dean.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of two years of recent experience in financial
Strong organizational skills and the ability to respond to
multiple project requirements simultaneously.
Fluent knowledge of MS Office Suite including strong skills with

faculty, staff, and students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
