Job Description:

Provide support and guide the marketing and communication initiatives for The Creamery brand. In concert with the director, develop and execute experiential activations of the The Creamery brand. This includes designing, supporting the planning, and hands-on execution of a consumer-engaging campaign to introduce the brand to consumers drawing on the unique farmer-owner, quality and localness storylines.Job Duties and Responsibilities:The Creamery communications and marketingAssist in developing and implementing an engaging experiential marketing campaign connecting The Creamery brand with consumersLead and execute the social media strategy for The Creamery to include drafting copy and developing graphics for posts, contributing content ideas, and assisting in developing social media style guide and policyServe as the primary contact for The Creamery experiential and public relations eventsServe as in-store brand manager ensuring signage, marketing and merchandising best reflect the standards and design of The CreameryMaintain the website including updating assets as needed, improving content and providing support to store staff with back end of websiteSupport internal communications on The Creamery to audiences in DFA, including employees and farmer-ownersCollaborate with local retailers on event plans and executionWork with supervisor to determine participation in event activation for local Utah events to increase brand awarenessServe as liaison between The Creamery and corporate communications teamHelp lead overall brand messaging for The CreameryThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.Other duties may be assigned as required.Requirements:Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or closely-related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education required2 to 5 years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in a brand activation or public relations or similar type roleCertification and/or License - Driver's license is necessaryKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of AP styleAble to write and edit within an organizational brandAble to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, for a diverse range of internal and/or external audiencesAble to work with accuracy and attention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to adapt and manage to change effectively (i.e., be flexible)Able to prioritize and meet deadlinesAble to problem solveKnowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe SuiteTravel: 25% - 50% (up to 1 week per month)An Equal Opportunity Employer
