Job Description:The Food & Beverage Manager at the Brian Head Best Western Premier will manage the Food & Beverage operations of the Iron Rock Kitchen, Breakfast Buffet, and the Lift Bar. The successful candidate will maximize revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The preferred candidate must possess a proven track record of managing sit-down restaurant-style dining. Extensive knowledge of Utah State Liquor laws is also required.Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the food and beverage operations following the goals and objectives set forth by General Manager, and maintain cultural alignment.
• Ensure the food and beverage outlets maintain efficient service while maintaining the highest quality and hospitality.
• Food and beverage manager will need to plan, budget, forecast, and execute food orders and ensure food outlets are adequately staffed based on business needs.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels, cost of goods sold, and process food orders.
• Manage payroll expenses.
• Provide effective training and manage food and beverage staff to ensure efficient quality service.
• Strive to reduce customer complaints.
• Design and execute attractive food menus.
• Lead department with character, integrity, and quality.Job Qualifications:
  • Preferred a minimum of 5 years of managing experience. (5+ years of food and beverage preferred)
  • Experience in overseeing a staff of over 10 employees
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Willingness to learn Utah State liquor laws (In-depth knowledge of Utah State liquor laws preferred).
  • Is able to obtain or has manager level food handlers permit and ServSafe.Compensation & Benefits:
    • Salary range $50,000-$55,000 annually depending on experience.
    • Eligible for health benefits.
    • Annual bonus based on key performance indicators.
