Job Description EP Cardiology opening in Mesquite, TXLocated in Mesquite, TX - Dallas 15 milesFull-time; PermanentHospital-Employed Overview: Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Electrophysiologist Established cardiology program with more than 20 years of service in the community Mix of clinic and procedural work Join collaborative cardiology team including interventional cardiologists and advanced practice providers Flexible scheduling with ability to design clinic schedule Clinical Details: Clinic volume approximately 20 patients per day Average 20 consults per day with support from physician assistant Inpatient consult volume approximately 1,400 - 2,500 patients annually Shared call schedule currently 1:5 with future plan of 1:3 EMR: Epic in both hospital and clinic Two high-volume cardiac catheterization labs Hospital emergency department averages 150 visits per day Approximately 20 hospital admissions daily with many cardiology consults Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package Productivity incentive opportunities Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan CME allowance and paid time off Malpractice provided Requirements: MD or DO Fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology Eligible for Texas medical license Ability to work within a collaborative cardiovascular team About the Area:Mesquite, TX is located approximately 15 miles east of Dallas and offers convenient access to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
