Job Description: As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible
for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging using advanced MRI
technology. You’ll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and
other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results and

Details - Sign on Bonus: up to $5000.00 for eligible applicants -
Department Location: Intermountain Health St George Regional
Hospital - Shift: Mid-shift, Full-time, 40 hrs./wk. - Benefits
Eligible: Yes Job Essentials - Ensures proper patient
identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for
the exam. - Performs MRI examinations per department protocol. -
Understands cross sectional anatomy and demonstrates anatomical
positioning competency. - Critiques own films. - Completes studies
within acceptable time limitations without compromising patient
care or the quality of the examination. Minimum Qualifications -
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification - -or- ARRT(R) certification with
at least 1-year full-time experience in MRI - Basic life support
(BLS) certification for healthcare providers Preferred
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in MRI or Advanced Radiologic
Science Physical Requirements: - Ongoing need for employee to see
and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate
monitors, identify equipment and supplies. - Frequent interactions
with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require
employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand
spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and
accurately, particularly during emergency situations. - Manual
dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate
equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent
computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing
needed information, medication preparation, etc. - Expected to lift
and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also
bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically
includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and
obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes
pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy
items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of
equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.) - May be expected to
stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate
dependent upon experience. $38.77 - $59.82 We care about your
