This is a clinical position for an MD/DO who has specialized in Pediatrics to work in the hospital setting as a hospitalist. As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide pediatric inpatient care at St. George Regional Hospital, a 336-bed level II trauma center. This position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and up to $20,000 in relocation assistance. You will practice at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah. Your schedule will include 13 – 15 12-hour shifts per month and primarily daytime hours with occasional night shifts. You’ll have APP coverage for nighttime shifts. You’ll see a variety of pediatric patients in our dedicated 12-bed pediatric unit, as well as ED consults and well baby consults. You’ll be supported by dedicated pediatric RNs, Social Workers, Lactation Consultants, and Telehealth physicians. Requirements of this role: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Residency training in Pediatrics Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time How we'll support you.
