Construction Location: Colorado City, TX Compensation: $80,000
annual salary (exempt) or equivalent to $40/hour Per Diem: $125/
day for non-local qualifying personnel Employment Type: Contract
Overview PTS Advance is seeking a motivated Assistant Project
Manager (APM) to support a large-scale data center construction
project in Colorado City, TX. This position offers hands-on
experience in project coordination and management, with
opportunities to grow into a full Project Manager role. The APM
will help ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and on
schedule while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in managing day-to-day project
activities and field operations. Monitor budgets, track costs, and
ensure project milestones are being met. Serve as a point of
contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep
work on schedule. Prepare, review, and maintain project
documentation, reports, and cost tracking records. Support
procurement, contract administration, and processing of change
orders. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards,
and regulatory requirements. Attend project meetings and provide
updates on progress, potential risks, and resource needs. Help
coordinate project schedules, resources, and logistics to optimize
workflow. Assist with tracking performance metrics, project
progress, and overall operational efficiency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a
related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 2–4 years of
experience in construction project coordination, assistant project
management, or similar roles. Knowledge of construction processes,
project documentation, and scheduling best practices. Strong
organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management
software (MS Project, Procore, or equivalent). Ability to work
onsite in Colorado City, TX, and travel as required to support
