Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
opportunity is for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
provide essential support within a school district serving students
in Mesquite, Texas. This position focuses on delivering impactful
speech-language services to young learners, primarily within grades
K-5, through an itinerant model that allows you to work across
several schools. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech
and language evaluations as a member of the districts evaluation
team. Deliver targeted speech therapy services to students,
supporting their communication development. Utilize
district-provided resources such as test kits, technology, and
communication tools efficiently. Coordinate with educators and
support staff to ensure integrated student progress. Maintain
accurate documentation and reports, with the flexibility to
complete paperwork remotely one day per week. Qualifications and
Experience: Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Proficiency in both English and Spanish to serve a
bilingual student population effectively. Experience working in
school settings preferred, with caseload familiarity spanning early
childhood to elementary-aged students (K-5). Strong communication
skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Location: This role is based in Mesquite, TX, with on-site duties
at multiple local elementary campuses and the Student Support
Center office. Benefits and Work Schedule: Full or part-time
