Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy
to K-12 students in a regional day school program for the deaf in
Mesquite, TX. This contract role supports students identified as
deaf or hard of hearing, integrating American Sign Language (ASL)
fluency or Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) certification to
enhance communication outcomes for this unique population. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver teletherapy speech-language services
tailored to the needs of students with hearing impairments.
Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement
individualized education plans (IEPs). Utilize ASL fluency or DHHT
certification to effectively communicate and assess student
progress. Manage a full-time caseload within the regional day
school program for the deaf. Maintain compliance with all Texas
licensure requirements and district protocols. Qualifications and
Experience: Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
required. Fluency in ASL or possession of DHHT certification is
essential. Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students
preferred. Demonstrated capability delivering teletherapy services
in an educational setting. Strong communication and organizational
skills. Location and Schedule: Role based in Mesquite, Texas.
Full-time contract position with 37.5 hours per week. Contract
duration: ASAP start through May 28, 2026. This opportunity
supports meaningful speech and language intervention for students
who are deaf or hard of hearing via teletherapy. Candidates
possessing ASL fluency and an active Texas SLP license are
