Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience across various educational levels, including Early Childhood, Pre-K, Elementary (Grades K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School (Grades 9-12). This contract role supports diverse student populations with speech and language needs, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve academic success. Location: Mesquite, NV Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress Provide direct therapy services to students across early childhood through high school levels Monitor and document student performance and adjust interventions as necessary Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and strategies Stay informed about current best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology within school settings Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in early childhood and K-12 educational environments Strong knowledge of communication disorders including articulation, language delays, and fluency Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and backgrounds Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school staff and families Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments Benefits: Contract position offering valuable experience supporting students in a school setting Opportunity to make a difference in student communication development and educational outcomes Work in a supportive community committed to student success Candidates ready to contribute to student growth and collaboration across educational levels are encouraged to apply.
