A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-5 students within a school district in Mesquite, TX. This contract role is ideal for professionals fluent in English and Spanish who are passionate about providing comprehensive speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment. Serving as an itinerant SLP, you will work across multiple campuses, offering evaluations and interventions that support student communication needs. Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language evaluations as part of the districts evaluation team Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes Utilizing district resources including test kits, technology, and communication tools Maintaining detailed reports and documentation, with remote work flexibility one day per week for report writing Qualifications: Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required Experience serving in a K-5 school setting preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively This full- or part-time role offers up to 30 hours per week spanning from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
